Privacy Policy

M&R Home Improvement LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is a family-owned general contractor serving Northeast Ohio. This policy explains what information our website (mandrhomeimprovementllc.com) collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
Information you give us
When you fill out our quote request form, we collect:
- your name, email address and phone number
- the way you prefer us to contact you
- your street address, city, state and ZIP code
- your message about the project
We use this information to reply to you, prepare a quote and, if you hire us, carry out and keep records of your project. Our service providers also process it as described below.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Cloudflare, our host, processes your IP address and similar data, such as your browser type and the time of your visit, to deliver and protect the site.
- Spam protection. Our form uses hCaptcha, a service that checks whether a visitor is a person and not a bot. hCaptcha may collect information about your device and browser, and it may set cookies. We also use a hidden form field to catch spam.
Who helps us run the site
We use these outside service providers:
- Cloudflare Pages hosts the website. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- hCaptcha protects the form from spam. See the hCaptcha Privacy Policy and the hCaptcha Terms of Service.
- Web3Forms receives your form submission and emails it to us. Web3Forms keeps a copy for up to three years, and it may send your IP address and email address to the spam-filtering services CleanTalk and Akismet. See the Web3Forms Privacy Policy.
- Email providers deliver and store the messages we receive, including quote requests sent to our AOL email account and privacy requests sent to our privacy email address.
Each provider has its own privacy policy.
This site is protected by hCaptcha and its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
We do not sell or share your quote request
We do not sell your quote request, and we do not share it with other businesses, including subcontractors and suppliers, except as described in this policy. We also do not share it for advertising. The service providers listed above handle it only to run our website, our form and our email. We do not send marketing emails or text messages.
We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies
Our site does not use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising. Our host may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from abuse. hCaptcha may also set cookies on our quote form to block spam.
Tracking across other websites
We do not track you across other websites, and we do not allow third parties to do so for advertising. Because of this, we do not change our practices in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
How long we keep information
We delete quote requests we no longer need. Records about a project we do for you are kept as described in your contract and as the law requires. Our form provider, Web3Forms, may keep its own copy for up to three years.
How we protect information
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot promise that your information will always be safe.
Children
Our website is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- send you a copy of the information we have about you
- correct information that is wrong
- delete your information

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
